About Us
Thirty years. Two bankruptcies. One unshakeable belief that success is a planned event — not a lucky accident.
From Broke
to Built.
I started my first business at 17 with nothing but a high school diploma and a refusal to accept the life I grew up in. By 22 I was married, a father, broke, and had already experienced bankruptcy. Most people would have stopped there. I was just getting started.
Over the next three decades I built and rebuilt multiple businesses, went through bankruptcy twice, learned the hard way that success is a planned event — and eventually figured out how to teach that to others. Today I serve as District Sales Manager and North American Sales Trainer for Hyundai Material Handling, while building a personal brand platform rooted in the same biblical principles I've lived by for 30 years.
My mentor Bob Proctor — one of the greatest teachers of the universal laws of success who ever lived — shaped the way I think about everything. His influence runs deep in everything I do. I'm the author of God Was Self-Employed, now in its revised and updated 2026 edition, and I'm working on my second book, A Life Worth Living.
I have three self-employed sons — Beaux, Matt, and Jake — and a stepdaughter, Madison — 17, precious, and everything I was completely unprepared for after raising three boys. I'm blessed to do all of it alongside my wife and greatest gift, Sarah.
